Bruce Pachkowski - Principal, Trident Capital Partners and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Pachkowski serves as Chairman of the Board of Total Energy Services Inc. and was one of the founding directors, having served as a director since 1996. Mr. Pachkowski is a Principal of Trident Capital Partners LP, a management and investment limited partnership and was formerly a partner with Peat Marwick Thorne (now KPMG LLP). Mr. Pachkowski received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1977 and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1979, a Chartered Business Valuator since 1989 and received his ICD.D designation in 2012.
Gregory Fletcher - President, Sierra Energy Inc.
Mr. Fletcher is an independent businessman. He is President and owner of Sierra Energy Inc., a private oil and gas production and development company that he started in 1997. He is also a director of Calfrac Well Services Ltd., a public oilfield service company and Peyto Exploration and Development Corp. as well as a number of private companies involved in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Fletcher graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in geology in 1972 and is a graduate of the Directors Education Program at the Haskayne School of Business, which has been developed by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Daniel Halyk - President and Chief Executive Officer, Total Energy Services Inc.
Mr. Halyk is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Total Energy Services Inc. and the founder of the Corporation. Mr. Halyk has served as a director since 1996. He has been Chief Executive Officer since May 2002 and President since June 2007. Since December 1997, Mr. Halyk has been a Principal of Trident Capital Partners LP; a private limited partnership that makes investments primarily in the energy, energy services and real estate industries. Prior to starting Trident Capital, Mr. Halyk was a corporate securities lawyer with Bennett Jones LLP in Calgary. Mr. Halyk received his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major) and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the University of Saskatchewan.
Randy Kwasnicia - President, Bralin Management Ltd.
Mr. Kwasnicia has been President of Bralin Management Ltd., a private oil and gas and real estate investment company, since 2004. Prior thereto, Mr. Kwasnicia was co-owner of private oil and gas drilling contractors, Excalibur Drilling (1994-2004) and Paragon Drilling Ltd. (1987-2004). Mr. Kwasnicia graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979 with Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degrees.
Greg Melchin - Independent Businessman
Mr. Melchin was appointed to the Board of Directors of Total Energy Services Inc. in 2009. Most recently, Mr. Melchin served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1997 to 2008. For seven years, he served as a Minister of the Crown, including Minister of Revenue from 2001 to 2004 and Minister of Energy from 2004 to 2006. Mr. Melchin left elected office in March of 2008 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Enmax Corporation, a municipally owned utility, and on the Board of Directors of Baytex Energy Corp. Mr. Melchin received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1980 and his FCA designation in 2004. Mr. Melchin also received his Institute of Corporate Directors designation in 2007.
Andrew Wiswell - Independent Businessman
Mr. Wiswell was appointed to the Board of Directors of Total Energy Services Inc. in 2005. Prior to his retirement in June of 2012 Mr. Wiswell served as the President. Chief Executive Officer and director of NAL Energy Corporation. Throughout his career he has held executive level business and financial roles and directorships in public companies including: President, Chief Executive Officer and director of Parkland Income Fund; President of ICG Propane; Vice President Marketing and subsequently Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Gulf Canada. Mr. Wiswell holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario, and is past-Chair of the Board of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers ("CAPP").
